Solution 2 Clean the Disk

Sometimes, if junk files get clogged up on the disk, system speed can be slowed down. Click on the start button, click on Computer, right click on Local Disc C and then, click on Properties. Finally, click on Disc Cleanup to clean up any junk files on the disc.

Solution 3 Delete Temp Files

After the junk files in the previous step are cleaned up, tick off all the boxes in the pop-up window and click on OK to delete all the temp files. Just give it a few moment for it to delete.

To get as high fps as possible, you need to make sure the power options are properly set. Open Control Panel and type “power options” on the upper right corner. The next thing you’re going to do is to hit the Windows Key. Type “%temp%” in the Run option and click on OK. Now, click on Ctrl+A to select all the temp files and delete them.

Go to the website of CCleaner, download, and install it. It’s a piece of system cleaning software used to clean potentially unwanted files and invalid Windows Registry entries from PC.

Open STEAM Library, choose CS:GO, click on Properties, then, set launch options and write the following commands:

-novid - Removes the in-game introduction movie
-high - Starts the game in a high-priority mode
-freq x (60, 75, 120, 144, 240)Hz - Display refresh rate.

  • -high --Runs the game with high priority.
  • -threads  - The number of cores or threads (if your processor supports Hyper-threading []) of the processor that the game can use.
  • -processheap - reduce effect of bug, if game is working for too long.
  • -nod3d9ex - Allows you to eliminate the bug with a sharp decrease in FPS, which appears if the game is running for a long time
  • -noaafonts - Removes the smoothing of fonts.
  • -nojoy - Removes gamepad / joystick support.
  • -lv -Runs the game in reduced cruelty mode.
  • +exec autoexec -Runs a .cfg file with commands to boost FPS
